How to Program the Sharp TV Universal Remote

When deciding to program your devices using one remote control, make sure that they are functioning normally as well as the batteries on the remote are fresh. This will eliminate hassles while setting up the remote. To be able to take control of other devices using the Sharp TV universal remote, here are the following programming steps:

  1. Power on the device you want the remote to control.
  2. Point the remote directly towards the device that has been turned on.
  3. Press and hold down the device button (i.e. VCR, DVD, etc) and CH+ button for 7 seconds.
